How To Use Google Lens On Your iPhone

How To Use Google Lens On Your iPhone

In this quick tech how-to video I’m going to show you how to use Google Lens on an iPhone to identify almost any object.

To get started, download the Google App from the App Store.

Open the app and on the home page here tap the Google Lens icon in the search bar.

A welcome prompt will appear letting you know that Lens will be analyzing what you see until you close the app. Select Got It.

Next, Click Ok to allow access to the camera.

Point Google Lens at the object you want to identify and tap the shutter button.

Lens will then analyze the image and give you the results at the bottom. You can scroll through them here and select one to take you to the linked page.

We’ll look at a couple objects here, this one Lens tells us is a Manfrotto camera plate. I can click on this link here to Amazon, and now here I can purchase the item through my Amazon account.

This is a pretty useful feature and can help you on anything from finding info on a random object to whether or not you should that poison ivy looking plant while on a walk.
